What's the best combo of strong AND discreet?

Hi,

I've only recently discovered snus, and so far have tried a few of the mini portions: Tre Ankara, General Mini, and LD Original Mini which I have now.

They're OK, but I was looking for something stronger, so I purchased some Nick & Johnny Portions, which are great, and have ordered a roll of Skruf Stark lös. (I ordered a whole roll sight unseen due to the reviews & recommendations on these forums.)

As much as I like the N&J, the pouches are just a bit too big for discretion in certain public spaces.

I quit smoking 3 weeks ago, mainly because of the Great War on cigarettes, and here's my question:

Are there any mini portion snus that really pack a punch, so I can get a strong tobacco/nicotine result while at the same time being completely under the radar?

Ultimately, I want to settle on 2 brands and stick with them. One for when I'm at home, or in environments where discretion doesn't matter, and one for use in places where tobacco use is frowned upon.

I don't care about candy or fruit-like flavorings or any of that, but prefer basic, robust tobacco taste. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Although not mini portions, I'd really recommend General Onyx portions which are nice and compact (they are black which could make them less discreet). The flavour is rather like General with more aromatics in it.

They are quite a strong portion though with 11mg of nicotine rather than the usual 8

Though I have not tried them, I hear the Wise 6mg mini portions pack a punch. Toss in 2 and you're off.

I think you would like Skruf Stark Portion for a subdued kick of nicotine at work. I don't like the N&J because it tastes like lower grade tobacco with a higher nicotine content. Some do like it. The Skruf portion is a little smaller and packs in better than the N&J so you wont look like a logger at work. Hope this helps!

Wise strong minis have 6 mg nicotine but taste like aspartame and candy, not tobacco. You might try the Catch minis - the eucalyptus is good, but flavoured and only 4 mg...

Folding the regular portions in half lengthwise (hotdog) worked for me. There's still a bulge, but it feels and looks more discrete.

I started trying the Wise regular 6mg portions and i put 2 in and i got a really good buzz. More than any other portions, aside from 2 portions of N&J. That gave me a nice buzz. Someone said that the nicotine delivery from the Njette snus products (Wise, Vin&Kock) give faster and stronger nicotine delivery, and I definately noticed it. Definately a discreet snus and packs a punch for the size. They are my favorites along with N&J portions. Anyone know much about Knox and Grovsnus portions?

Amen on the Wise 6mg portions. Small and will flat spin your head. The citrus/menthol tastes good, too.

Cool... Thanks for the tips. Both the Wise and the General Onyx look especially promising, and I've been planning on trying the Skruf Portions anyway. I'm glad to hear they're a bit more compact than the N&J.

But I am really liking this N&J. This is some seriously good stuff.

That's the best snus, if you ask me. The pouches are slim, and you could easily fit two under your lip. But boy, be prepared for a rush!!!
The flavor is awesome: spicy and long lasting.

I am also a lover of Wise 6mg regular and some time the 6mg citrus. It is like nitro in the delivery of nicotine. I also use Oliver Twist regularly which tastes great; the General makes a mini as well which has a nice full body taste (not General Silver regulars).

My suggestion would be to just use the regular portions and fold them in half. They seem huge when you first start out but once you are comfortable they are very discreet. My wife can't even tell when I am snusing.
