Yeah, have a smoke if you want. When that same urge hit me, I did and hated it. It validated my reasons for wanting to quit in the first place. Go ahead, the cigs don't own you anymore...

Yeah I don't even like cigs anymore, I only smoked a couple a day when I did anyways. I thought of quitting dip at college because of my gums, it was the easiest thing ever I have a can of cope straight lc, and I've had one pinch, I think part of my dipping at home was just conditioning to go outside play with the dogs and dip or chew.

I'm on my 5th month smoke free, and I've had a few moments when I wanted one, but never bad enough to actually smoke. I would think the experience would be pretty nasty now that you've been away from them for a few months. So, yeah, I say have one if you really need it, but like others have said, I think you will wonder what you ever liked about them in the first place.
Good luck!

LX, have you tried any of the menthol filtered mini cigars?
On this your birthday weekend, light 'em if you got 'em.

I tried some about... Jeeze, 25 years ago now, and I wasn't too impressed. They were ok, but not a replacement for cigarettes. I may like them better now, since I'd only be smoking 1, but it's hard to say. The ones I tried(White Owl maybe?) were too "dark" and heavy in flavor. They also kind of rasped my throat, and I felt like I was coming down with a cold, if that makes sense.

I gave up most of my cigarettes when I went over to snuff, but there were still times when the nicotine cravings got the better on me and I occasionally broke. Using snus I have now been abstinent from cigarettes for 2 weeks, even with a family court issue and my daughter going back to her mum's. I had one cigarette about a week ago, but hated the taste and the smell on me (my sense of taste is coming back really quick, something that was an issue whilst I snuffed heavily). I really think I've got the smoking thing cracked now, but one day at a time eh?!
