    Nick & Johnny?

Hey folks, can someone describe the difference between N & J OP and N & J Black? I've had the Op before but not the black.

Actually, N&J Black has been replaced with N&J Strong White. The only difference is the portion material; the tobacco blend and strength remains unchanged. When comparing the Original and (now) White Portion, the flavor is more subtle with the White Portion and stronger with the Original Portion.

N&J Black is delicious.. I have a couple cans of the white sitting in the freezer unopened but I haven't tried them to compare.

By OP you mean N&J Strong? If so, those are pretty good too.

The tobacco is good w/ the Black portion as well as the taste. I did not like the portion material at all. I found it to be irritating to my mouth. It almost felt rough. I feel the same with Grov Black and somewhat, but less so with Onyx. Maybe it's because of this feeling I would wet it more/play with it and the portion material would get slimy rather quickly. I just didn't enjoy them because of this and stuck with N&J OP. I would try the White Portion but I won't be ordering for some time. I won't buy Grov Black again and Onyx is limited to a couple cans/year.
