The only General I can stand is the loose and Onyx on occasion. I detest the portions, both original and maxi. The white didn't really have much taste when I tried it.

I'm not really a General fan. The taste just doesn't agree with me. The citrus is overbearing. I'd much prefer Granit. The citrus tones in Granit seem much more subtle and evenly balanced with the tobacco flavor.

I can definitely see why people like General, but I'm just not a fan. Regardless your brand, snus on. I'm not here to judge. You have your snus and I've got mine.

y'all should try a pris of general lös with a glas of whiskey and coke. it's MADE for each other. the most perfect match i've ever come across.
apart from that, i'm no big fan of general, either. it's okay and probably suitable to be used on a daily basis - not too sweet, not too harsh -, but there's a lot of better brands out there for my taste.
onyx is interesting, no doubt. but for me, personally, it's just too much licorice and too strongly flavoured in general. nice, but absolutely overpriced and none of my favourites.

I'm not a fan of General, I've had original portions, mini portions, and mini white portions, none of which did much for me. I really wanted to like General, but alas it wasn't meant to be yet. There was another one I bought here in the states that I was wondering about, it was the white portion, but it said wintergreen flavor on it. Boy was it a wintergreen flavor!!! It also hurt my gums (burned like crazy) - and I'm not talking about the usual new-snuser gums burning. Is this a US unique form of General, because I don't think I've seen it online... ? Oh, I didn't like it either .

I think this is geared towards the US market. On swedishsnus.com(Swedish Match's site) It shows up for sale on the USA portion of their site, but if you click for rest of the world, it doesn't appear.

I kinda figured that, it was REALLY strong flavored. Not really like a mint snus (mocca, metropol, etc...) at all, way too strong. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has had the real product at all, and really - due to the burning - I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

First of all, Lanci, your sig offends me

However, I do agree with you about the Onyx.

@SM,C: It's funny, I feel the opposite about General and Granit. I think Granit has a much stronger citrus tone than General.

I love General, although I generally (haha) stick to the loose. When I first started snusing I was using portions exclusively, and I recall getting pretty tired of General back then. Now though, I can't seem to keep tins of it (the loose) in my freezer, they come out about one every third tin I go through.
