    The PACT act for me?

I don't want to read 300 pages, just give me the run down.

    What is it?
    how does it affect us?
    your opinions?

    it sucks big time
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

        More facts less opinion:

        More strict age verification.
No cheap USPS shipping for any tobacco product (must use more expensive UPS).
Stateside online purchases force state taxes to be paid.

Some of us serfs in our society DARED to purchase tobacco from internet websites. This pissed off various royalty within our society, including the royal majesties of Phillip Morris and Convenience Store Owners. These aristocrats did not like the fact that we serfs were buying tobacco which did not provide these royal majesties with the profits to which they are entitled. It was even worse than that, however. You see, the most powerful of the royal majesties, being the rulers of our 'fair' state governments, were deprived of much valued tax revenue on these internet tobacco purchases, to which they most obviously were so entitled. How dare we serfs buy our tobacco online, while leaving our state governments with such huge deficits. The royal majesties of the state of New York were particularly offended by these internet purchases. How could they possibly EARN $11 for a pack of cigarettes, to which they were entitled, if we serfs could so easily purchase a carton over the internet for $25?

So the royal majesties of the states, Phillip Morris and the Convenience stores went to the whorehouse on capitol hill, to inquire of the pimps there of the possible ways we serfs could be legally raped.

            Thus, the PACT Act.

I personally don't care much that online cigarette sales got axed, but as usual smokeless, including proven safe tobacco products like snus got whacked as collateral damage. In the USA harm reduction is a myth.
