Marlboro Rich is by far THE WORST snus I've ever tried ... it lasted less than
5 minutes before my stomach started churning and I spit it out!!

Marlboro should be prohibited from calling it snus.

Hmm my buddy loves camel frost he said it was as strong as other snus and he dips too, so maybe they got that part worked out, he liked general mint though.

Strong as other snus? That's a thinly held opinion around these parts. No accounting for blah blah blah. I will say that as much as I dislike Camel it's positively ambrosial compared to Marlboro.

I actually bought marlboro snus yesterday, I got a thing of four packs with six pouches for 2.39 so I said eh why not. The rich and spearmint are ok, peppermint grossed me out because the white film made it look like someone got off inside the pouch it wasn't bad though. Amber formerly mild was absolute shit it tasted like rich with an added film strip maybe if you drink expired maple syrup for breakfast you'll like it. I'm completely confused what the point of this stuff is. It didn't seem very strong to me and I didn't crave anymore nicotine but it's not much stronger than nicorette 2mg gum, and costs more. They're basically mediocre candy/breathmints with cigarette tobacco, rolled around a listerene strip (except for rich which is tobacco and some synthetic brown sugar and artificial syrup) it doesn't taste bad to me but I used to drink 12-15 cans of diet soda a day. I think it's disingenuous to dis something without trying it, so I've tried it and it's ok not great overpriced and weak. I wouldn't worry about kids sneaking these in class the pouch and container smells like a maple syrup factory.

No Camel snus here, only Marlboro. I enjoyed the Peppermint (the Spearmint is also alright). It's the Rich and Mild that I couldn't stand. Those taste like artificial maple syrup. They also left a nasty taste afterward.

... and they're $2.68+tax a pack where I live (that's over to $11 for 24 portions if you compare it to snus cans)

Post-PACT, authentic Swedish snus is still a bargain!

That's quite expensive for a can of Marlboro snus. (Snus is supposed to be cheaper than cigarettes)

I suppose you live in Europe ? ....

Not sure if it's made like Swedish snus now, (highly doubt it) but it does taste way better then before. Still no where close as good as the real thing, but better then Marlboro and the older Camel.

That new Camel does not in any way taste like Swedish snus. Way too sweet, way too synthetic tasting. Just god-awful crap IMO. Hell, at least the Mellow tasted decent....like candy.

I'm a brand new snusser, having accidentally quit smoking after 20 years the first day/time I tried Camel (robust). I'm awaiting my first order from Northerner, but I'll chime in on the American brands from a n00b's view.

The Marlboro Rich portions were unbearable. Just nothing more to say on that. I've been a steady smoker for 20 years, and I occasionally use American dip, (Skoal straight, Copenhagen), and Camel Robust seems to have enough nicotine to get me through the day, going through them pretty steadily. The flavor is very odd and took a lot of getting used to, but I have - and the benefit of finally, *actually* not smoking every day is just almost too much for me to get my mind around. I imagine that I'll never buy Camel Robust again after getting the real deal, but for anyone who doesn't have the immediate opportunity to find good quality Snus, I wouldn't _not_ recommend Camel Robust. I seriously can't wait to receive my order, and I'll cut myself off here or risk waxing poetic about how totally amazing Snus is.

Im stuck using Camel Frost and Robust till my first order of General gets here. I like the frost and robust. I have tried the Marboro. Marboro Mild was disgusting! Didnt even come in a tin can. It was in a lil crappy plastic cup with a lid glued on. Smelled like Butterscotch and tasted like old Maple Syrup. The Frost is pretty good IMO. I barely feel the nic hit tho. The Robust is good. Smells like Tea and kinda tastes like it too. But I started on Frost and I will still use it between shipments. BTW. Just started using snus. Quit dipping and chewing when i switched to Camel Frost.

I once mixed a few portions of Offroad Frosted with my Jakobsson's Classic Strong. Even after sniffing each portion...thoroughly...I still couldn't determine which one was which. I ended up taking a Jakobsson's Classic Strong...had a hint of the frosted so it was a nice blend.

I am sorry that your snus got ruined.

My husband smokes Marlboro and he got those coupons for free sh*t when you bought a pack of smokes and he tried to pawn that crap off on me. It is dry and rips open your lip, not to mention the horrid flavor.
