I've got a rather large upper lip/gum area, so no folding is necessary for me (shoot i can almost "hillbilly it" and not show any on my teeth). I tend to fluff, flatten and go. I also pop the portion out with my tongue after 45 minutes or so, flip in over and shove it in the other side of my lip, a single portion lasts me about 90-120 minutes with this method (Original or White, not mini), of course some brands just plain last longer than others.

Huh, interesting... seems everyone is getting in on this folding act nower days :P
For me, it's really a matter of situations. If I'm with my boys or in private, i'll fold and stick it up there and forget about it until it's time to refresh and swap out for another portion.
If I'm in mixed company, with new people, in class etc, i'll tend to just pop it in my mouth like candy, then push it up my lip with my tongue.
To be honest, both seem to achieve the same affect, a nice prilla-esque portion.
I did used to have it flat against my gums as others have suggested, but I found this was less stable, the portion would droop down over my teeth (never good) and even if it was less of a bulge, the psychological aspect seemed to be greater...

I love slim portions, and when I have a regular portion I always fold them. Seam in, and I fold the edge into the seam so the little sealed flappy thing doesn't bother my gum. Are we still folding portions in 2024?
