Snus will be fine for a week without a fridge. In fact, it's not going to go "bad" even for longer, it just might get dry. So no worries.

So maybe a bit less of a nicotine hit if dry? And a few more TSNAs breeding in the warmth!?

TSNA count doesn't increase with snus. If you'll have access to a freezer occasionally freeze a plastic bottle of water, and keep it, and your snus in a cooler. That's totally unnecessary, but that's what I do. I prefer my snus chilled.

Not sure about customs.....they are not sure themselves.

Should be fine as long as it is legal to posses in said country.

Lol, for most of my carrer I never refridgerated my snus. I just left it in the box it was shipped in and kept it at room temperature, storing it for a month or more at a time in my room. Doesn't really change anything, they stay wet a little longer in the fridge, but if you spent a week or two with it unrefridgerated you would be hard pressed to notice a difference. I'm 99% sure that the refridgeration of snus is more of an asthetic/placebo thing than actually necwessary. Yah TSNA's blah blah blah, but even after a month of no refridgeration the leves aren't bad.

tl;dr: Don't worry, I never refridgerate my shit and i'm straight, you will be too. Enjoy your trip.

From what I've read, expiration dates on snus cans refer to its freshness date unrefrigerated. Even if that's untrue, I've been on two week trips with warm snus and never noticed a degradation in quality or potency.

Most importantly, keep one can opened at a time!

This is like asking if all snus will go bad if it's not in a round tin. The shape of the tin is for asthetics just like the concept of refridgerating it, I think people really over-stress whatever alleged health benefits one can gain from refridgeration. Freezing shit increases the shelf life, but that is not specific to snus, I really don't see how it being unrefridgerated makes a difference, at least not a noticeable one for the end user.

I haven't refrigerated my snus for a long time. I've had cans that are two months past best before and what generally happens is the flavor isn't as good and they're drier just get some saliva on them and they're fine.

I took 20 tins of snus into and out of canada no problem. I just declared it on the way in.. no tax or nothing.... It's different from the u.k. and the EU.. but it's my experience on an international border. I just said it was chewing tobacco.
