A USB outlet can generate around 5v, so it will apparently just cool stuff. I haven't tried it though and run this thread to have some one else doOriginally posted by stew.12

The USB fridges don't really cool all that well from what I hear; and that's plain highway robbery pricing as far as the one Northerner is selling... :P

This reminds me of the time I was at this huge LAN party (TG) with 5000+ people! It was mayhem... nerds everywhere lol, and loud music 24/7!
Anyway, the security told my friend he could not use his "soda vending machine". This thing was funny as hell, it was a slot machine. And if you got let's say 3 lemons you got a soda. Then the whole thing would turn crazy and blink and play loud music, people was stopping by our row just to take pictures. I also had a really mini fridge that could hold like 3 sodas and a few cans of snus. They security never noticed this one though
