How to store snus that I use periodically?

    Hi folks,

I have a question relating to part of my snus regime- With a couple of my snuses that are open, I only use them once or twice a day or even once or twice a week. I plan to use lab series #6 or another extra sterk such as oden's extreme once a day, first thing in the morning. I also keep an open can of thunder frosted mini, a couple of portions of which I use once a week when at work and i need to be discrete, but still get my 8mg of nic. For these low use snuses how would you store them? Obviously I can't just leave them out, as they would dry out and not last. Keep them in the fridge open? (would they dry up?) Or would you freeze them and take portions out as required?

    Cheers guys

I keep them in the fridge. It'll dry over time, but there isn't a lot you can do about it, since you're periodically opening the lid, and allowing air exchange. If you find they're drying too much for your liking, add a little bit of water, or perhaps something like whisky. That should revive them, but it isn't something I've bothered with myself.

Thanks for the advice, I have a spray bottle if I need to rehydrate it.

That's awesome, I have thought about getting a dedicated snus fridge or something similar.

I've pondered using something like this but fear it will be a royal piece of shite...

I would bung them in the freezer and take out as many as required and put some in a spare can in the fridge... topping up from the freezer each time.

Yeah I was wondering whether or not to do that. Maybe I'll give it a go, especially with the thunder minis, I only use 2-3 portions a week.

I heard that putting a piece of apple in the open can will help you keep your snus moist
                  P.S. - by ''apple'' I mean a fruit,not an Ipad
