Experiment with snus.

I've been using Phantom Blue a lot and it gets kinda, well, stinky.

I took two portions, cut the top off, emptied them, and filled them with baking soda, then tied them off. Tossed one in a full can and one with just a few left. I'm going to see if it keeps the flavors and smell fresh. And whether or not it dries them out.

I myself am a little paraniod that my snus will inherit the smell of my fridge. So far I have not noticed this to be true though. My wife, bless her, is very good and making sure we don't get any "science experiments" in the fridge, and keeps it clean.

Not quite sure what you mean by "stinky". Do you mean the smell that all snus starts to take on after it has been open for a bit (has been referred to as an amonia smell here), or are you trying to keep the flavor smell of the snus (blue is a pretty noticable scent) from tainting other things in your fridge?

No, I mean the PB itself had this extra smell, the same kind of tangy stink you get if you have a bandaid on your finger for a good long time. I got it in my first can, then the first two cans from the roll I ordered, but the third can seems to be holding stable. Maybe the flavor mixture got goofed in a batch of cans and they were flukes.

So my icetool portion box has both baking soda packets in it now. If its working, its working. If not, then I just got a good can. I don't have a good way to tell if its actually doing anything.

Just spray windex all over the house to get used to the smell and enjoy your snus :lol:
