Inserting a pris with the tools

I notice that with an icetool it makes a cylindrical pris and the prismaster makes a pillow shape. But when looking at instructions it shows you sticking the tool in vertically and putting in the pris.

But thinking about it that doesnt sound like it would work too well. Instead of going sideways it would be in vertically. Is this the correct way or am i dumb?

You've got it perfectly right, the Prismaster goes in vertically and it works pretty well. The Icetool is supposed to be used horizontal tough, which doesn't work at all for me, just crumbles everywhere. Maybe I'm just to dumb to use it... ops:

I'm probably a freak.. but When using a prismaster I tend to eject the pris and insert it manually, sideways, the pris just seems to fit perfectly under my lip.

With the Icetool I inject it perpendicular and kind of let it "squish" in, I can then make fine adjustments in shape by pressing on my upper lip with my fingers... then again I like a nice lump I can feel and kind of squeeze on with my lip..

with the prismaster, I would put it in vertically if making a relatively small pris which I prefer. But if using a primaster full, I would do it horizontally.

Yeah, icetool goes horizontal for me. I use it almost like a caulking gun to lay the snus out, if that makes any sense.
