Flavor Difference in a pris

I posted a thread about my first hand baked pris. I then went back to use my pris master. I have been complaining about the lack of flavor in los compared to portion.

well i just hand baked another pris and this one was perfect size. I put it in and instantly i was hit by flavor. I mean alot. This is definately what i was wanting in los from the same brand i was complaining about lacking flavor. Am i the only one who notices this. Alot more flavor than using my prismaster

Tightly backing a pris slows the release of flavor, your handbacked prillas are probably much looser than what's coming out of your portion tool.

When I really want a flavor hit I just "hillbilly it", grab a wad from the can, no baking and shove it up under the lip, gets all over my teeth and looks pretty nasty, but the flavor hit is incredible, and it's fine when I'm in my office at home late at night.

Eli is right on. The tighter it is, the slower it releases flavor. I also just toss a wad under my lip now and again which is an instant jackhammer of flavor.

Yeah, the 'hillbilly method' (aka : a "bonde") is definitely a jackhammer! Sometimes I'm careless with how much I use and have to sit myself down for a moment after the odd one of those :lol:

I was doing this all day today. 5+ hours in the car. It is kinda hard to use an icetool or bake while driving (my car is manual transmission with mo cruise control). I was just taking small pinches, tossin it on my tongue and slapping it under my lip with my tongue. I shoulda taken a picture of my teeth when I got home. They were quite sexy. The ladies at the rest area were all over me :lol: :lol:
