It's funny how you phrase that. Remembering what makes me happy.

My divorce will be final in less than 2 weeks. It has been a 19 month process. All I have done at moments is survive. I have thought a lot lately about what makes me happy. Honestly, I don't really know any more. In many ways I am healthy, in that way, I am not even close. I have at least realized that figuring out what makes me happy is hugely important.

So you hit it right on the nail. Before I really can be with someone again, I need to know what makes me happy. These next 6 months, that is what I want to figure out.

This thread seems to be a bit past it's expiration date but since I saw it, I had to put in my 2 cents.
My old lady and I have only been together for about 9 months but around the beggining of the year we both smoked and then I decided to give snus another shot, hence how I ended up on this forum. Every now and then I'd tell her she was welcome to try it, she never had a problem with me smoking or dipping but she shrugged off snus.
Long story short, I gave her a tin of offroad lakrits to hold on to, she finally tried it, thought it was ok. Kept smoking.
I think she saw how I never you touched a cigarette again after I started, and with 60 tins in the freezer it was readily available and she started trying different tins, long story short she now uses only snus, oddly enough her favorite so far is grovsnus svart (surprised me) and she slams skruf extra stark and lab 06 like its her job.
I was pretty proud of this and maybe it'll give anyone else out there some hope that it is possible to get the girlfriends to switch, and the outcome in their choice snus may come as a surprise. but the trick is to get them to buy their own supply, I haven't figured that one out yet.

lmao I let my girlfriend try a snus once, just a white portion and she spit it out at once saying it felt like razor on her gum and tasted like shit, literally. Lucky for me since her using snus would be a huge turnoff for me (hypocrite 4 life)
She's been anti-snus on a few occasions but I just shove her cigarette addiction in her face and that makes her quiet.

Hey Patnotron, you let me know if you figure out how to get your girl to buy her own snus. My girl quit smoking with snus about 8 months after me. That was almost three years ago. Whenever I order she throws me 40 bucks for a roll of minis, but when they run out, she's onto my stash. Though I must say she went to tinderbox the other day without me and bought 4 cans of General op. Two for me, two for her. I got onto her for opening my last can of Green Harvest. lol but hey, at least she's not smoking anymore. I could never go back to kissing someone who smokes.

T hank's for revving up the WayBack machine Mr. Peabody! I went Huhhhhhhhhhhhh......! Sage is married now to a snuson gal! I think we should just stick to the "Blue Barrels" aspects of relationships, although I prefer the term "Farm Accident".

                    Fielder & Lundgren
                    by Guest
Headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, Fielder & Lundgren is probably the oldest snus manufacturing name in Sweden. Started as a company in 1835, F & L's history has been full of name changes but one thing that has stayed consistent thru out it's 175 year existence, is it's commitment to producing quality Swedish snus.

Even though the company was started in 1835, it was Samuel Fielder who applied for permission to manufacture snus in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1785. Today, Fielder & Lundgren produces
