cheap steel tins for los

i was looking for a replacement for the waxed fiber cans and came across some steel round cans used for travel soaps, candle making, bath salts.

the lids are threaded and some options have a view top so you can see how long before you are out of snus or to check how its packed if you tap the can to move your los around before baking/pinching.

they are usually cheap ($2-5USD) and have a threaded lid

look for the 2-2.5oz sizes.

these could also be nice for those who make/flavor their own snus and will likely take a custom label well in the slightly recessed lids.

ummm.......yea those tins are really cheap. But they must be made on the moon. Shipping is over $15.

that's a good point, i hadn't thought of that. but if your snus is in a tin so long that it rusts i imagine that it would not be very fresh.

it makes me wonder how the steel tins at snusory.com work. they have nice embossing designs. the grade of steel probably matters.

i love glogg/gluwein and make it every holiday and was considering ordering some julesnus. i have also noticed that there is more than one kind of los julesnus (gotland and nordstrommen) have you had both? impressions?

My impression of V2's isn't valid anymore. They changed the formula after the first year, and I haven't had it since. Based on the first year I preferred the Gotland make, but I prefer their snus anyway, so I dunno :^D

The tins are awesome because they're fairly heavy plastic, and close solidly. They also last a long time before the seal degrades too badly. Aside from all of that, this is the last lössnus they make, and it's a limited release. Lössnus is what they do best, and they don't want to do it anymore. If you don't get it this year, you may never get it. There's no guarantees it'll be back next year.

Yeah i love Gotlandsnus cans, as lx says. Shame i haven't got more.
