hehe, yeah, no doubt. My two favourite snus of the day are the first in the morning with a cup of coffee after breakfast and a nice big one after dinner. Just had another pinch of the landstöms grov and I think i'm starting to figure out this loose stuff. A bit more fussy than just grabbing a pouch but I think it's growing on me.

I actually get better portions by baking them with my fingers. I hate to get snus between my teeth and to swallow snus, so I make pretty firm barrel-shaped portions. If you start shaping the portion by pushing on your lip, you will get snus on your teeth and it will start falling apart. I also think the portioner-tools make too sharp edges on the portion. But that's my opinion...

I wish I could watch a long time snus expert baking their snus...I'm sure I could learn a lot. Maybe someday I will visit Sweden...

:shock: No, no, no!! I don't need a larger Icetool, my regular dose of snus is only 1ml!! I'm a very small user of snus. I'm amazed at the people who use the large Icetool!!

I have a prismaster, everytime I use it I feel like it's gonna break. :cry: For $2.00, I guess I shouldn't complain. The Icetool is cool and practical and definitely adds a touch of sofistication. I'm surprised they don't use icetool's or the like here in the U.S, perhaps it's the bottom lip thing. Over here in the U.S, everyone associates dip users with cowboys and rednecks.

Sweden has tobacco thing figured out.

I bake it with three fingers aswell. Make barrel-shaped portions.
I tried to cut off the end of a shot(?) (sprøyte) to make a portioner-tool, but if I pushed too far, it would crunch the snus under my lip. I prefer to bake it with my fingers.

What I have done since I started using snus is cut syringes head and put some tape to other end... here pictures from my tools... sorry bout bad quality... had only camera on phone...

^ Yeah, I've seen solutions like this and it should work fine. But its kind a obvious why you are looking forward to the arrival of Icetool. Those syringes make the consumption of snus look even more dodgy :wink:

If snus ever became popular and legal in Australia, which I very much doubt (anyone seen the mouth cancer pic warning on cig packets??) I'd imagine the trade name for icetool could be under suspicion... I wonder how bad the methamphetamine problems are in scandinavia?

Over here we have had massive media freak-outs and public concern over the drug ice... and pipes and accessories for smoking such drugs (and even bongs for cannabis) have been black listed now. I wonder how the general public, and especially the tabloids and right wing gov't departments, would react about sale of something called an Icetool. LOL. It strikes me as interesting... How have the Swedes and Fins handled this?

Scandinavians tend to be much like the rest of Europeans - not so prone to sensationalism and fearmongering - perhaps even more so...maybe it's the cold. It is not logical to get upset at something for having a name which is simply associated with some forms of slang for a street drug. As long as it isn't causing the street drug problem then it is not a problem. Easy, really.

When I lived there drugs were so prohibitory expensive that you could barely get them let alone get addicted to them But seriously meth doesn't seem much of a problem in europe.

Sure. Seems that this country is becoming more Americanised all the time, as far as sensationalism and fearmonging... etc. Perhaps I should pack up and move to europe.... If only the exchange rate was in our favour rather than theirs! haha.

I don't think it's a proper swedish word - like Pepsi or something, just a brand name. Generally most brand names tend to be like that, I think, since it's advantageous for corporate image and all that to have something unique - a name brand that you can trademark.
