I'll try that today, thanks. I'll post later about the disaster that ensues.
The pinch method

Been practicing my hilbilly pinch lately, I'm about 50/50 between icetooling it and handbaking/pinching. It's hard to resist giving the pinch a few squeezes in the palm, though. Generally when I pinch, I mash it in the corner of the can, turn it once and mash it again, then put it in. It doesn't last as long as a properly baked pris, or an icetool load, but it's not too bad either.

Xobeloot is a master of the Lös-iverse! That youtube video was pimp too. that guy played his snus can like an Egyptian playing a darbuka goblet drum. Speaking of 'hillbillies', I wonder if that's a catch-all Swedish term for 'white trash' or if they have a specific Svenskt term? I'm stoked on the hand bake. Icetool? I don't need no stinking Icetool [it'd be cool to have though]. I'm getting quicker and cleaner, and sorry if I'm repeating myself, but I feel hand-baked stays together better than Prismastered wads. I've decided that Göteborgs Prima Fint is gross. Probe is the shite, and P. Classic blue rocks, Röda is my lös fave...yes I figgerd out how to type umlauts on a mac.

My favorite snus to do hillbilly (and the only one I actually like doing it with) is Roda Lacket. I find that the flavor release of RL is slower (due to how compact the pris becomes in lieu of the fine grind), so when I do a hillbilly with it it provides a different experience that releases more of the subtle fruit flavor (tastes like figs or prunes to me).

Yeah, did a General bonde last night; I only left it in for 30 minutes, but that's all I needed it for. Good nic kick, wonderful flavor, and it was solid enough to keep it in, if I'd wanted to.
Seems the trick is a little bake in the can. You know, mash against the corner firmly, turn, mash again, pop it in, and let your tongue/lip do the rest. My only complaint is that the snus sits a little lower on my gum than if I properly bake it.

To me nothing beats a bonde of Skruf Stark, even a small one (although I prefer medium-sized). The coarseness of the cut gives it a bumpy-smooth texture that I've yet to experience with other loose (recommendations are welcome). Beyond that, the instant flavor and nicotine satisfaction are exactly what I like/need.
For my first couple of months of loosing I'd bake and form my pinches tightly, but I found they'd eventually loosen up anyway. The bonde technique, the way I do it, I basically cut out the initial process of the tightly baked pinch getting muddy slowly, but with the benefits of fresh flavor and nicotine. It doesn't last as long this way, usually between 15 and 45 minutes, but the pleasure is intensified. When not drinking anything, I can keep it up there indefinitely.
I either hand bake just enough so that it's barely controllable, or do it in the can (it helps if the can is a bit empty or there are denser clumps towards the edge, in which case a few taps on the side of the can before popping the lid helps to bring them towards the center). The art of sticking it in the lip is tricky, but practice makes perfect.
