LOS Size....

OK you LOS fans - I gots some questions....

I just got my LOS order (sample 10 pack from buysnus, with an extra Ettan LOS) last night, and decided to drop the $$ and get a 3ml icetool as well.

Being the brave soul I am, I threw the can's into the freezer (cool down first) - and started playing with the icetool.

I got the Ettan cooled down and packed away - I'm new, so I only packed to about the second line on the plunger.

But I realized that this 3ml fully loaded would make one LONG prilla (at least to me...), so the question to the icetoolers is -

What do you do:
Do you fully load the icetool?
Do partial loads?
Both?

An inquiring mind needs to know.....

I'm new to the tool as well bmw. I just got the 3ml today and, from what I've read here, it's a matter of preference. I fill to between the second and third line up. I was a bit suprised on how small it was since, I didn't hand bake very well and was making the pris too big. IMO this makes a good sized pris for my liking and, I don't get the mudslide as fast as I was when hand baking. They also last about 2 hrs as opposed to the hour I was getting.

I use exactly 2 clicks(1ml). It looks small in the hand, but I find it completely satisfying, and much more comfortable than having a huge lump under my lip. I don't use nearly as much lös with the IceTool as I did when I hand baked.

Now if I take a small one off my 3ml I feel like I have nothing in there.

A can of Los used to last me 3,4,5+ days. Now a can of los lasts 1.5-2 days (and that is being generous).

So... basically, I have a mountain of snus in my lip most of the day, and I get extremely cranky if it is not there.

I've consciously kept myself from using more than 2 clicks at a time. I'm happy with that amount, and don't want to raise the bar as far as snus use goes. It's kind of like listening to music in the car. I've kept my crappy speakers in there, so I don't keep raising the volume above a reasonable limit. It seems like loud enough, isn't after a short while :^D

Xob- what time period are you talking about with upsizing your pris? I occasionally try to put a bigger pris in and it usually ends with me getting leakage into my teeth in like, an hour. I've been hoping that I could expand my "pocket" since my los cans are lasting me between 8 and 10 days a piece; by the time I get to the end of a can it's barely moist enough to hold a pris shape. Anyway, any advice?

It has been roughly a 10+ month timeframe from my first los until now.

My upper lip has most definately stretched/reformed to accomodate the amount of snus I use.

Don't be afraid to add a dash of water or booze to your snus if it starts to dry out. I do all the time when I see it start to get grainy and not pack well. Interesting thing is I never have to do it to Skruf stark. Probably since I go through it so fast.

I'm finally getting the hang of this (after several in mouth disasters)....

Right now I'm at 1.5 marks and it feels big enough for me.....

Now I get to play with the different types in the sample pack - so far Ettan, General and Monte Cristo....
