    Hand baking coming quite naturally

I don't want to sound like a braggart; or toot my own horn. But after a couple practice runs with Roda, P.Classic Blue, Goteborgs and Probe, I'm doing well. This is much more gratifying than using the Prismaster, and I'm convinced that the natural oils on the hands help keep things together better. I've noticed with handbaked prillas, extraction is much easier and the pris seems to hold form longer. I've been kind of using Zero's video method for initial shape then lots of fingertip and heel of the hand to kind of clean it up. Thanks for all the tips guys!
and yes, that is the belly of a year of inactivity and couch-time, due to pulmonary problems, no doubt exacerbated by years of smoking, which snus has enabled me to quit 100%

I've completely gone back to handbaking with my favorite los; Gotlandssnus Gul. I've found that while the prismaster and icetool do a good job shaping, placing it with the tool doesn't work for me. It always seems to crumble if I don't place it by hand.

That's a fine looking pris pony!!

I'm so "Baketarded" that mine turned out looking like some new, undiscovered geometric shape but, definately not a cylinder.

I had the same problem with my Icetool jamesstew when i first got it. I'd get the tool loaded and ready to go and, as I pushed the plunger, the pris would break in half. I remedied this by pointing it directly at that piece of skin in the middle of the upper lip, and, as I pushed the plunger in, I let the tool move its self back. It just takes a slight push of the tongue on the back end of the pris to get it in place and it's all good.

BTW pony, The Skruf Stark lös is empty and, I really enjoyed it. I started on the Knox and so far, to me, it kinda tastes like a cross between RL and Onyx portions. Only had 2 pris' tho'.
