How do you like your snus?

I've seen where some people like PP put a bit of coffee in their can. I used to splash my copenhagen with whiskey if it dried out.

I had a can of loose in the fridge too long and it got dry. I added a bit of Johnny Walker to it and put it on the kitchen counter overnight. OMG it was better than new!

Does anyone have a preference to moisten a can? Ever tried anything besides coffee, water, or whiskey?

I know a can tastes better to me after it's been open a day or two, but there seems to be a window where the optimum flavor and consistency perches.

Does anyone prefer drier loose and portions? I know for me drier portions are my preference, but with loose I like the opposite.

I use portions only, and I have so many cans open at one time they tend to dry out after I'm about half way through them... To freshen them up I spread the portions out in the bottom of the can and squirt them with a fine mist from a water spray bottle... Then I spray the underside of the lid and put them back in the fridge...

exactly, wet loose and dry teabags! Sounds like a bad porno! No, I agree baker, I prefer white portions in general[no pun] because they seem to keep better without fridgin', at work, outside, bustin' caps etc. I have found my goofy little mini-fridge is so close to freezing temp. that it actually forms a little patch of ice crytals on the rear wall, I think that helps, as I've had some lös in there for a week, and the portions are definitely more moist than from the fridge downstairs, and snus is all I keep in the thing. On the flip, I have sprinkled small amounts of raspberry snuff into a half can of aging Göteborgs Rapé #2, it was an interesting combo, the snuff seemed to suck all moisture from the portions. I think with lös I'll take the whiskey idea, but try vodka instead.

I can't say I really doctor my snus at all...I'm scared to over-hydrate it. Plus the tap water here tastes like rancid monkey butt. The coffee idea sounds good though, I may add a few drops when my General can is on its last day and see how I like it.

I once added hot sauce (Tapatio, if anyone's familiar - really hot, and I can't live without it) to some General portions. Not a good idea. ops:

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
