I wanted to share something that I've found useful when using Skruf Stark loose, which is pretty much the only loose I use. Maybe it works for other loose snus as well.
When I finish a can, I keep the can. I take a new, full can from the freezer, open it up immediately (it doesn't work if it thaws), pop out the entire puck of snus (turn it upside down, give it a couple solid thumps so that it comes out on the lid when the lid is opened), break it into quarters, keep two quarters in the old can and two in the new one.
What this does for me is help me break off small pieces from the main pieces and stuff those in my lip instead of the longer, messier version of baking, especially when a can is just opened and getting a good pinch is difficult. And what you get is comparable to something between a prilla and a bonde, which for me allows the flavor and nicotine to do their thing quicker.
Enjoy!
