Tools or fingers?

For all the new snuffers out there; as you gain more experience with snuffing, are you appreciating one method of delivery over another, ie: bullets, spoons, pinches..etc? If so, why?

I like bullets for convenience and cleanliness but find I get a more satisfying 'sniff' by pinching. I find the 'back of the hand' method wasteful and messy. I can take a bigger pris with a spoon but for some reason, can't taste it as well as a finger-pinch. Any thoughts?

I've really grown to like taking it off the back of my hand Pöschl style. I use every other method aside from bullets, but as I accumulate a collection of shaker boxes, I think that'll be my primary method of use.

I feel like I can control the amount of snuff easier off the back of my hand. Also, my fingers get pretty grubby at work, so minimizing contact with the snuff is probably a good idea.

I prefer the Pöschl's boxes/tins and the "back of the hand" method as well. I found a shop here locally that sells empty bullets and, tried one. I used Toque and, either this bullet has too big of a chamber or, I did it wrong. The snuff went too high and burned like h***! I have a Toque bullet coming with my last order and will try it again but, I think I'll be sticking with the afore mentioned methods.

I had the same problem with the real fine stuff but alleviated it by turning the bullet in/down after insertion to sort of 'aim' at the bottom wall of my nose. Instead of the barrel's line of fire aiming directly into the opening of your sinus cavity. This slows it down somewhat and has done the trick for me.

I also found that the top hole* of several of them were plugged with flash. I inserted an extremely slim rod (paperclip) in there and dug to get the flash out. The bullets work much better now and I'm able to use the moister snuffs where before they would clog.

*top hole of the on/off lever when bullet's upright and in the 'on' position, or pointed down.

The one I bought had the same flash in the nozzle. Cleaned it out and it was fine. I dodn't try the aiming thing though. Gonna try that now. Thanks for the tip toekuttr!
