    new to Snus

    Hello all!
I am brand new to Snus. I have been a smoker for 4 years, and started to worry about future health issues. Picked up a pack of smokes and attached to my cigarettes was a tin of "Snus".... "spitless, smokeless tobacco". Along with smoking i have always enjoyed dipping skoal or cope, so i was excited to get a free can of dip. After work i decided to do a bit of research on "Snus", and came across a video on Youtube put out by Northerner, and after watching it and getting all the amazing facts about "Snus", it was like a lightbulb went off, it was the answer i was looking for.

So i ordered 10 cans of Skruf original portion from Northerner.com, and so far am loving it. Although everyone in my family is a bit grossed out because the juice kinda drips onto my teeth and is a very dark brown, almost black color. My question is, is this normal? and is the juice bad for you?

The juice is normal and is fine to swallow. I have never had anyone tell me that they can see the juice on my teeth. The only time people know I am snusing is when I put a portion/pris in in front of them. Best of luck quitting the smokes. This is a much healthier choice!

One thing to make sure of is that you're putting the snus to the left or right of the center of your upper lip. That might help. If the staining is a big concern, try some white portions, maybe Nick & Johnny West if you're looking for a strong snus.

      Welcome!

Hey, and welcome to the forums and the snus-scene. :^D

I mostly use Skruf Original as well, I'm a huge fan of it but my teeth never catches any stains? Guess you're unlucky if it's starting to leak a bit too much. Rarely happens with me though.

Glad to see you're considering later health issues by choosing Snus.

Where do you place your snus?
