    los

    fellow snusjunkies!
I'm a yearling user and am discovering the merits of los snus, ie: value and better nic hits in my opinion.
Anyone found brands that stay together better? I'm used to American long cuts like Skoal, but will only use it when there's a delay in my scandinavian connection or whatever, as there is no comparison in flavour and value. North American product is heinously expensive here in the Great White North. Anyway, have tried Offroad's longcut and,...ugh! Am waiting for Ettan los (love Ettan portion), and will try roda and maybe others. LD and General are great at home or work where my blackened smile don't offend any i'm concerned about impressing, but,...now i'm ramblin'.
    SNUS ON!!! :?

You know what, I'm lösing about 80% of the time now, I would guess that I've tried nearly all of the non-Offroad lös brands, and I didn't really notice that many of them were all that difficult to keep together.

Röda was one of them. Gustavus was another. I use mostly Ettan and Rape', both of which stay together well. Skruf Stark and Knox worked out pretty well, as did both brands of Gotlandssnus.

If you're using a portioner, it's just a matter of finding the sweet spot, as far as how tight to make it so that it doesn't fall apart in 10 mins, but it doesn't feel like a rock in there either.

I agree with spirit and would add Grov to that. I haven't found a coarser snus. I tried Phantom Classic based on Xobe and found that to be pretty good and also noticed it sticks together very well.

When I used mostly portions I would abuse the hell out of them. Constantly biting and moving the portion. With los just put it in and leave it alone. I give it a little poke with my tongue to pack it on occasion though.

I second spirit's suggestions and, Tony's as well. Although you may have not liked Offroad's Long Cut and, you like flavored snus, I'd try Offroad Cranberry but, beware, it's flavor is not for the faint at heart!

I'd also suggest Gotebörg's Rape and Prima Fint for Tobacco flavors as well. I use lös whenever I'm home and, it took some time, as spirit said, to master the pris. I'm a baketard so, I have Icetools that control the size and compression. I'd hold off on them until you're sure you like the lös vareities due to their cost. Hope this helps!

Röda Lacket is mega easier to hand bake, it's super fine cut, similar to G Prima Fint, but tastier IMO. It does have a tendency to get soft if you play with it too....umm, nevermind...
I'm finding that Gotlands julesnus lös stays together well, but isn't real quick to bake, but it sure is tasty.
Probe lös is pretty awesome flavor IMO and easy to bake.

            "Los" diablos

Sweet,... dudes! Thanks for the words.
I'm just gonna keep on with the baking practice as I go, and try not to chainsnus another pris before the flavour's all gone, just to try baking a new one ! That'd be Snus abuse !!!
            :? Snus on!

I love it how I don't even have to post anymore. Someone always chimes in with a "Xobe suggests Phantom"

              Awesome!
