Howdy y'all. I've never been a "smoker". An occasional cigar with the boys. Chewed "Red Man" all through boot camp and military school. Stopped chewing in college. Never been "addicted". However, I can see myself getting in to trouble with Snus. I tried my first Snus yesterday with my best friend. He's a Marine stationed at Pendleton. He got a couple of tins of Camel (frost and spice) from the xchange. Since he's on leave I thought we'd do the best friend thing and go out for a drink and a cigar. However, all the errands that we were doing took way to much time. So, he broke out the Snus. Wow! I liked it! The whole non-spitting thing pretty much sold me. Now I know that the most of you think that Camel is a pretty inferior Snus so I just now placed an order for 4 tins of Offroad, a tin of General and a tin of Catch. Go big or go home....LOL.

Welcome to the board! And the world of snus. You have a adventure ahead of you.
Most of us don't like Camel products compared to true Swedish-type snus. Everyone has their own flavor preferences. There are a few here that like the Camel products. It seems the American snus varieties are all sweet flavored vs. "real" snus which is more salty than sweet.
Whatever you like, another snusser is always a good thing.

I didn't know you could get Camel snus on the bases; I'm gonna have to get my friends to pick me up a few tins since I have never tried it.
I'm in SD also; I order primarily from Buysnus, but when I order from Getsnus it usually takes about 4 days. Buysnus generally takes a day or two longer.
