Vacuum sealing freezer bags for ultimate fresh snus!

I went out and bought these ziplock freezer bags with a special air pump to air seal the bags before they go into the freezer. I was pretty impressed at how easy it was to use. It's also pretty cheap and reusable.

For those that are really paranoid about their snus, you might consider buying these.

You can find them in your grocery store. Here's a link too:

    Good call, turbozed.

    That's what I use - 5 cans to a reusable bag.

I vacuum sealed some of my stash with my Foodsaver before depositing in the back of the freezer. Keeps meat fresh longer without freezer burn, so it should keep snus fresh for a couple years (not that they'll be sitting in the freezer that long).

There was a thread on this somewhere, but I can't find it. It really is a good idea.

I have a friend who uses those to keep, well........other stuff fresh.

I work at a grocery store and saw these when they first came out. I'm tempted to buy one with extra bags because it's way cheaper than the automatic air sealers.

I just bought some tonight after work. I purchased the air sealer and some extra bags. It's very easy! All you do is suck the air out with the device several times and snus will be air sealed! It cost me about $6.00, and it's totally worth it! I'm sure this will make snus last longer when in a freezer, refrigerator or stored at room temperature. I highly recommend it!

I am just WAY too lazy. Been doing this going on two years and never felt the need to vacuum seal anything. And in the past, with over 80 cans in the freezer, i had some in there for a very long time. i have NEVER been able to tell the difference between one frozen for 5 months, and one fresh.

                  just my $0.04.
