First of all, I would like to thank all those who gave me advice. This was a much more pleasant responce than I had expected! My friend offered me a Camel snus today and I gave it a shot and it was good, but not great. I don't think I'll continue to use it but it was nice to try but I don't think its really for me. Again, I really appreciate the help and I think I agree with those that told me not to do it. Its best for my health and wallet and judging from my first experience which was only so-so, its probably not an awesome idea to start doing it. Thanks for all of your input!

sagedil, i find it interesting you mentioned the connection with smoking and ADHD. I also have it. Everyone always says how much better you feel when you quit smoking. I quit for two months a while back and things never got better. i was a wreck. I finally figured out i was medicating myself with cigarettes. I smoked like a power plant while i was in collage. But the alternative is amphetamines. You sound like me. I don't trust myself within 50 paces of any kind of amphetamine. I'm so glad i found snus.

sadly i have taken the whole tour of tobacco, i have used every form there is, and there is no doubt that i am addicted, so for me its all about harm reduction, and preventing others from becoming dependent upon nicotine. like they say my man, don't start, maybe if you like the taste get you some nicotine free snus, i know they make it. im young, and ill hopefully not be a tobacco user my whole life...

              good luck

If you've tried it once and decided you don't like it, then don't use it again. It really is for your own benefit, years down the line.. even those who absolutely love it realise how horrible it is. You use it once and not like it, use it a few more times and start to like it, keep using it and there. Addict. Just don't start. It's for the best.
