    grov svart and cream soda

Not that cream soda is that common of a product, but for some reason I have some in my fridge. Instead of mixing it with bourbon like my friend who brought it did, I was hit in an instant with the idea to put in a black grov and sip one.

    It's fantastic.

Oooo... now that's good stuff. Funny how actual sugar makes it taste better than using high fructose corn syrup. Some of my friends say they can't taste much difference, but I think it makes a big one.

You are right about cane sugar vs. Syrup. There are a lot of people who try to locate Coca-Cola made in South America where they use sugar instead of syrup -- they swear it is much better.

Pepsi is releasing a cane sugar version called Pepsi throwback soon. Google it.

Now if only coke would do the same.

I'd like to believe that I can tell the difference between HFCS and sugar, but I can't and I suspect that some people are just being nostalgic for it's own sake. No one here, of course. Since you're snusers you have laser precision tastebuds.

guaranteed, I can taste the difference between bleached sugar, brown sugar and cane sugar. 100% ofthe time. HFCS tastes different as well.

I don't know what happened, but it seemed like the taste of Coca Cola had changed after the "Old Coke"/"New Coke"/"Coke Classic" fiasco back in the mid-eighties. I don't want to blame the HFCS offhand, maybe they lowered the caffeine content or something.

Coke just seemed to have less "bite" to it after that time. My tastes shifted to RC and Pepsi after that. Did anyone else here notice a difference? We seem to have more sensitive taste-buds, LOL.

Has anyone seen the new Pepsi re-release? It's a limited edition can-only run of the original Pepsi formula using real sugar. It's supposed to be out by now but I haven't seen it yet.
