Pffft. Goon my ass. Some of us are just more refined than others. XP

Actually, wetshaving gives me a lot less razorburn and irritation than anything else short of an electric razor, and even those give it pretty badly if I use them regularly.

And yes, the Merkur HD is quite nice, and the one I use regularly. I've been trying to get a strait razor, strop, and pastes except adding it all together costs a pretty penny and I haven't the time to practice with it just yet. Maybe over the summer.

i am also a wetshaver, i use an edwin jagger. it is a merkur head on an ej handle. i also have an edwin jagger medium silvertip. between wetshaving and snus i can save fortune. both give you a lot more bang for your buck, and improve my quality of life.

Still largely the same, but now I don't have to be at work until 10:30 -11:00, so just have my first Elyxr when I finally roll out of bed. Will usually have my 2nd when i get out of the shower.

Some seriously odd routines. I guess we all have our methods.

I hit the snooze four or five times, drag my ass to the kitchen, start coffee, feed the cats, go pee, get on the interscape, load a farmer pinch of Skruf Stark after a few sips of coffee, and off we go. I take it out about 30 minutes later in the shower. Ten minutes after that I'm hoofin' it to the bus, which is when I have one of my few daily cigarettes. I look forward to it, which helps me get to the bus on time. 30 minutes after that it's a portion of N&J or Claq Qui on the train with a book, trying my best to tune out the evils of my fellow human riders.

I must be the only morning person on these forums. I wake up usually at 6-630 am, get up, go to the gym, have my morning pot of coffee and then usually some breakfast. I usually study my notes or do any work I have for class that day, and at ~ 11ish i'm off to class, where I tend to pop in my first snus.

I used to be an avid morning person. I woke up at 6:00 am, stretched and went out for a quick skate or bike ride for many years.

Recently though, my morning routine is pretty jacked up.

I wake up about a half an hour late, every day, drag my ass out of bed and plant my ass in front of my computer checking my performance numbers from my restaurants from the previous day.

Drag my ass into the shower and get moving.

I miss my morning workouts and it really shows in the waist!

I hit 35 a few months back and it's weird but I have noticed all sorts of little changes in my way my body works and moves. I think I should go see a doc to see if I have any other issues because I just can't get going like I used to.

70-90 hour work weeks are probably a big part of the issue but still, I've worked like that for 18 years with no issues!

Age hits a lot of people hard, even at a relatively early one like 35. Hell, I'm 23 and I'm finding issues doing shit I used to do when I was 18. Can't run nearly as hardcore as I used to. I was able to breeze through the Army personal fitness test before and now I have to work hard to make sure I can ace it. Now onto the USMC PFT... oh man is that thing a bitch.

I should probably give my normal routine of when I actually have a decent night's rest and wake up to a schedule I need to follow. Wake up, jog a quick mile, shower, shave, cook a decent breakfast or eat at the mess hall, and go off to the first thing I have to do where I'll pop in a portion. Maybe I'm weird, but the quick jog gives me a bunch of energy since it forces me to wake the hell up and gets me into 'on' mode.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a "morning person" but I am moreso than people my age. I'm 22. and the best time of the day for me is about 10AM-2PM. The period I'm discussing here is when I lie in bed from 830-930, and occasionally I planned to do something in the morning and fail to do so. Once I get some food, nic and caff in me, the morning feels great and I don't like to get up too long after the sun does

I have had a Skruf Stark portion first thing in the morning for over a year now. It seems to do the trick - get my nic level back up to a reasonable level.

Yeah, I'm working on German. Can you tell?

Wouldn't it be "was ist die Schlafen"? I dunno, my German is worthless. Where's chainsnuser. Waking up is a bitch. I struggle with it damn near each and every day.

I am definatly a morning person. but I always stay up late for no real reason so that usually gets in the way of getting up, but I like being up before the sun comes up. when I open my eyes they just don't close anymore. I am awake as soon as my eyes open though im usually dead tired from staying up late I pop right up as though I've been up for hours drinking coffe, damn id love to be able to lay in bed and just relax but just can do it, sucks... wonder if theres a sleepin snus. cause pills make my head feel clogged the next day. I always wait about 30 to 60 mins before snusing because if I pop one right away then it seems I must pop a double next time so I can get the nic rush. but if I wait a while in the am, I can get a "sober" reference and a single snus does the trick. then I swap for a fresh portin about every hour till lunch, take an hour to get "sober" reference again and snus till dinner. you probably get the point by now ehh. can't wait to see if claq qui is all im making it out to be, dried fruit with hint of apricot in the am just sound so effin good!

I got some actually, per your advice. And you know what? I kind of like the taste! The first one I spat out after 5 minutes, the second tasted like farts, te third one made my mouth tingle in an allergic-reaction sort of way, then all of the sudden, I found myself kind of liking them. The taste even. And no, they don't still taste like farts!
