I too hated the taste at first. But slowly, I came to appreciate it's unique characteristics.

Honestly, I overplay the lousy taste issue as I know it will strike most as very strange and a bit off putting. I figure if prepare folks right, they won't then use that as an excuse to miss it's sublime functionality.

So do you like what it does for you???

I liked the Northerner energy snus much more than the Elixyr. The honey taste reminds me of when I smoked Djarums. But in the mornings it's a Nick & Johnny West and coffee for me. For now at least.

Yeah, I guess. I'm still only about half way through my first and only can. Sometimes I notice a real wake-up kick, other times not so much. Overall though, I welcome the power of a supposedly nasty snus to give me an extra boost when I need it. I've actually only used them in the morning a couple times -- once before I went out and ran 3.5 miles with a mild hangover, and half-way through my run I noticed a huge burst of energy and actually a caffeine-induced head buzzing, which I obviously attributed to the snus. Other times I have used them at work when I am dragging, and yeah, I like the effects

well, I appreciate the civil discussion about energy snus. I'm still putting off placing my next snus order, so in the mean time I'm lucky to have found something that works- a huge chunk of american dip. The nicotine flows quick, and you have to spit in about 5 minutes at least, so It works to get me out of bed. I've been consistent in getting up at 8AM now. Thought about pushing it even earlier, but I can't get to bed before midnight because of pesky biology. So I'm happy. I love the feeling of a day laid out in front of me, and the lack of traffic if I have to go out
