this evening, being somewhat despondant about my lös not being spicey enough, I was struck by inspiration!

I measured out about 1.75 mililiters with my ghetto tool squeezed it onto the lid and mixed in some ground cinnamon, hand baked it long and narrow, slid it in my ghetto tool and made a nice jöcey little pris.

it's about double or triple the cinnamon taste!

later I'm trying cloves or nutmeg!

That's a damned good idea. A couple of people have complained that the flavor wasn't strong enough. It would be cheap and easy to just add more to a tin.

thank you, I think it's easier to mix by portion though.

I mixed allspice with my ettan lös, it's so forgiving to make a pris with.

I think I'll try my hand at a christmas snus using ettan.

is there a snus that tastes like pine sap... odd question I know, but I used to make Alaskan hillbilly "bublegum" with sap and berries, I love that pine taste!

I might have to wait to go home and get some fresh sap.

I'm a tinkerer... I can't leave well enough alone.

Sorry to bump an old thread - but this sounds like a great idea. Did you find that you still cut your Kanel with extra cinnamon or did you get tired of it?

1 easy to way spice up the lös snus is very easy. (and the way to retrieve the taste of snus what have been missing for 1 month)

Just put an piece of apple to the lös, and leave it there for 48 hours, in the freezer. (I changed new piece of apple about every 8 hours)
And it was very nice mix of tobacco&apple. Very tasty!

And i tried the same with piece of pineapple, woah that was something very interesting. O_o fruits give them nice taste.

I've been wanting to try the oden's kanel. Does it have an artificial Big Red type flavor, or more of a natural flavor?

I have only had the portions, but absolutely NOT like Big red. The Cinnamon is there, but very, very mild

I just mixed the last of my ES Kanel with an equal part of Skruf. Stays together a lot better and the flavor is the same.

I did throw in some General Mini Mint in a can of original and it gave a few pieces a light mint taste...thought about adding mellow to some at first to help flavor adjustment but eventually choose not to.
