Ahhhh! In anticipation of the Prima Fint I ordered, I'm definitely going to watch this video--as well as others--repeatedly. My first hand-baking experience must be PERFECT. I don't care how easy you guys say the Prima Fint is, I just KNOW I'm going to screw up and make a big, shitty mess... ops:

I now have to watch this video in order to bake anything that will hold together more than 5 minutes. I tend to be a bit rough handed and it crumbles, that or im baking it too long and drying it out too much (sounds like a cookery forum hehe)

I tried baking with snus but it came out awfull. i'm going back to whole wheat flower and just enjoying snus by itself...that's the way the cookie crumbles... ops:

I'm about to try loose for the first time and it would not have looked ANYTHING like that! I'm going to watch the video a few more times before I try it, though.

Not to be negativ or something but that was pretty terribal. Even that you wrote you did i slowley on purpose.

Just take your thumb and pointer (? finger next to the thumb) and push some snus togheter angainst the side, then you just put it under your lip. If you are new to snus you maybe whant it a littel thighter, do as i wrote but then you take your other hands thumb and pointer and push togheter, 4-5 times maybe. Throw it into your mouth and put it up to its right posistion. This way you have your snus in like 10 seconds.

If you yanks take our snus i thing you should be able to do it right and also the esiest way. Sorry for my bad english also and enjoy the beauty of swedish snus =)

I dont know if you was ironic our something but really, the way shown in the first post seems...heavy and slow. Also that way the snus is so packed you proberbly dont even feel the taste.

Well, Zero's video is to show to an absolute newbie, how to bake a pris, that looks like made with the icetool. It should be appreciated for what it is. It's not about how a seasoned snuser bakes a usable prilla within seconds or simply grabs a pinch.

Apart of that, when I first watched Zero's video, there already were some funny comments, partly in English, partly in different Scandinavian languages. Really, I was just about to post a comment like "Han bager som en lille pige! Go practicing, greenhorn!" ... just for fun.

Even if it is for a total newbie it is terribal slow and not useful if you are walking and whant a snus.

At first I thought filip was being a bit abrupt but I figured what the hell. Watched the videos and then gave it a shot. Grabbed some Ettan los and squished it into the side of the can. Pulled out a wad, knocked off the loose stuff then jammed it in. I'll be dammed, it works really well. I was able to pop it up there and then use my finger against my lip along with my tongue and form a perfect pris up in the "pocket". I'll still use my Icetool when I need my fingers clean, but I think I found my new hand baking method.

Still gotta give props to Zero on a great tutorial and one hell of a perfectly shaped pris though.

Nicely backed pris, but I there's much less time consuming methods to bake properly. Just put a nice amount in your palm and make it compact using your fingers. Don't mind about the form yet. Then make an O with your pinkie inside your tumb and squeeze it from every direction while rotating it and shifting the pressure up and down the pris. You'll end up with a hard and very nice looking pris with little exercise.

Just a rough guide if you want a simple and easy baking method. Not rocket-science so sure it has been mentioned before. Just new to the forum and want to make it easy for new snusers.

I dont get the idea why everyone grabs some snus to the palm and then starts to "compress" it and form it to a pris. :P Just compress it on the can and right away bake it with your fingers to the pris form, takes 20s or so. Same way as that "hansson" fella.
