Ashtray Lid

When do you guys usually use the ashtray lid? Do you use it often? How many pouches can you usually cram into there? I use it even when there is a trashcan next to me. It's a neat novelty!

Some will say they only use theirs for storing extra portions.

I actually use mine for its intended purpose, however, its usually only when im driving.

Depending on the can make, i can get 3 or 5 to fit but most of the time its 3.

The only thing that gets annoying is its pretty gross when you open it only to see slimy spit covered pouches stuck to the lid.

Most of the time though its empty and i just spit the used product into a trash can, if they got rid of the double lid wouldnt matter too much to me.

95% of the time, I spit out in a trash can. But every so often, I have been in situations where the ashtray was truely convienant. I may have gotten 5 in before, but that is pushing it. Maybe one out of 10 cans of snus ever get used as na ashtray.

I don't use the ashtray to "throw away" used portions, nor do I carry extra portions in it. I use it when I need to take a portion out for a few minutes, to eat or anything else that I'd take it out for, then when done...pop it back in my mouth.

I use it as intended in meetings, at work or at the movies. I've also been known to keep a few grams of Toque or Wilson's snuff in there, but it's got to be a lid with a good tight fit. I find the ashtray lids also come in handy for storing daily meds/pills as well.

My friend well, kind of overused it, he put seven pouches in it to see how many could fit in it. And as an old habit he played with the lid while he had the can in his pocket and the next time he put his hand down ther to get a snus he got a nasty surprise :P

The only tin I use the spent snus container on is the Wise/Ooompf snus. I like how it is hinged and on the end of the can. The worst container IMO was the Vertigo cans. You basically had to pry the stupid cover off to discard used portions! I find myself discarding snus in the ashtray thing only while I am sitting in church, most other times, they go directly in the trash.

I use it to store a pouch or two for occasions where I have to snus discreetly. Easier to open without taking the can out of your pocket.

I now use the ashtray lid to put a few General mini mints in whatever can I have so when I'm finished brushing my teeth in the morning I can throw one of them in without any weird tasting.

Its for breath mints so you can avoid catpiss breath if needed.
