Is it just me or does FRESH snus last longer

Is it just me or does FRESH snus last longer in mouth before it starts being runny.

With a new can, a freshly made pris lasts 2-3 hours, but with some days old (not refridgerated, only pocket-kept) it lasts only 1-2 hours.

Is this a well-known fact, or is my mind playing games about my snus?

Haven't found any differences myself, after keeping the can in pocket for 3 days, but after 4-5 days its starting to get bad.
