Not sure what you have tried but Toque really does make some easy on newbies snuff.

I'm sorry to be harsh but snorting snus is the dumbest idea I've heard in weeks. I actually highly recommend that you try it as punishment for entertaining the thought of it... Lol not trying to be too hard on you. Either you're joking, very young, or there was a serious misunderstanding about the use of the term "snuff" as applied to oral tobacco vs. nasal snuff. And to make up for being a dick about it I will share this: once my nose was so plugged from allergies that a friend was able to convince me to smoke a cig thru my nose to clear it up. So I did. The results were catastrophic.

A lot of people have this image of snuff taking being like coke snorting- you don't snort snuff, you gently inhale it.

I love Toque snuff. It's easier on my sinuses than Scotch Snuff and Navy Blend or any of the other commercially available brands I have local to me. I don't do it much anymore since my septum deviated, though.

          Lol, that is so funny.

Still, I'm thinking on this snus up the nose idea - a mini portion up each nostril. And people are worried about lip bulge?
I suppose we could just tell people that they're nose bleed plugs or something...

Yep... and when you do inhale, you want to aim for the front of the nose. A very gentle sniff is all that it takes.

For the adventurous out there, try adding a small pinch of snuff to one of your portions. I like adding a small pinch of Wilson's Crumbs of Comfort to a Thunder Frosted portion.

              I'll take you one better....

I am now vaporizing my pot. Adding a bit of snuff as well just makes the flavor so much better

Snus enima anyone? (you knew someone was going there sooner or later)

I would kick in $5 for someone to try it.

Whats the benefit of nasal (and oral) snuffs when you have snus?

It tastes SO yummy. Really, nothing I have ever done even comes close to it. The nic hit is much different. Honestly, the nicotine goodness lasts only a moment or two with me. But at that moment, it just makes me feel so extra good.

Some days I may use it 30 times, other days, only 2 or 3. Just depends on mood.

I could never use snuff in place of snus. Snus is how I manage my nicotine addiction. Snuff is just an extra on top of.

Interesting. It doesn't sound very appealing to me (at all), but I guess ill try some sometime if I have the chance.

Is it as safe as snus?

English/German snuff is proven to be safer than snus. American snuff probably is close. Since there have been no recent studies done with American snuff. EU warning labels only have to state that nicotine is addictive. No cancer warnings required.

I'm surprised to hear that it is safer than snus.

Roderick has done a LOT of research, or maybe his attorneys did. There are a bunch of European studies of snuff. I don't have them at my fingertips, but I'm sure if you PM Toque Snuff he'll share or google it you can find them.

After hearing all the horror stories about how bad American Dry snuff is/was, I was concerned also, but after reading in several places that there are no recorded or proven cases of nasal snuff causing cancer ( used nasally, there is a story of a guy that got ear cancer from sticking it in his ear for 40 years), I started to rethink my position.

If anyone can prove me wrong, go ahead. I will still happily use it knowing that it's much safer than smoking.

Well...kings, queens, generals and philosophers all did snuff in the old days and it didn't kill any of them. I'm sure TSNA's were quite a bit higher then to boot.

Of course famine, wars, plagues, diseases and unruly mobs usually took them out before snuff would have had a chance...
