I asked earlier for suggestions to flavor up some plain ole' General Los. Someone mentioned using McCormic flavorings...didn't have any of that brand but I do have some of Loranns highly concentrated flavorings that I originally used on my liquid for my e-cigs.
So, I took a can of General out of the freezer, put a few grams in a small bowl, dropped in a few drops each of chocolate and raspberry, along with a small pinch of Splenda, mixed well with a plastic fork, and wow...as good if not better than that limited edition Nordstrommen stuff! I was wondering how I would get my occasional chocolate-raspberry fix once my 2 cans of that run out, but no worries now. 8)
Loranns are very concentrated and unsweetened, which is why I added the Splenda. It took the "ick" edge off of it just fine. I've had it in my mouth over 15 minutes and the flavor is still going strong.
Using Wilson's clear vanilla wasn't as successful though...just kinda turned it to a muddy mess. I do have some Loranns Bavarian Cream, but that stuff is enough to make a pig gag, yuck. Do not try Bavarian Cream at home, you've been warned! :?
