Crazy places where you can snus but not smoke

So now I'm wondering if the venerable members of SnusOn have snused in some exotic places where they could not smoke.
Post whatever interesting stories you have here (I'd love to hear someone say they snused at an anti-tobacco lobby convention or something :wink: )
For me it was body surfing in the Gulf of Mexico, when I realized that no, the sandbar was NOT where it was the day before.

i would have to say in the wing vice commander's office. i went to go see him today and i forgot i had a snus in and once i was in there full conversation i remebered i had one in. i dont think he noticed since no one seems to notice. thankfuly it wasn't los or i would of had an ear full from everyone. not to mention the things i would have gotten from the guys at work.

Can the juice cause irritation thought? A little bird told me that spitting out the juice from the dip while sitting in the bathroom might cause some burning. Not sure if it is the same with snus

I guess this could be considered an "exotic" place...I recently went to a zoo where signs were posted everywhere of "No smoking or DIPPING!" The sign had a picture of a cig and a tin crossed out. I'm sure this rule had more to do with cigarette butts and used dip on the ground, but I enjoyed my entire visit with a General mini mint portion in my mouth! I made sure after I used it to discard the portion in a trash bin. I wouldn't wanna be the one responsible for the park adding SNUS to their banned list!

Just thinking of a few mint portions out there that give your mouth a cooling sensation. I wonder if a partner could feel that during fellatio. I wouldn't recommend trying it though.

My situation, I just plain forgot I had it. Did manage to get rid of it not long after. Not a huge fan of kissing beyond a simple hello with it in.

beja, I was dating a woman a year and a half ago that had a heart condition. I had to walk away from snus for a month because any nicotine in me would enter her when we kissed. She didn't realize I used the first time, and ended up having to go to hospital a couple of hours after I left cause her heart started beating badly.

So I am assuming the answer is yes for someone who is very sensitive.

Wow, that's pretty crazy! I would never have thought that the second hand buzz would even be possible, let alone dangerous.

Not only did I snus in church, I used snuff too. A Southern Baptsi Church too boot.

And no, Trudy and I didn't work out, she just had too many issues. I still remember the day she told me, she asked if I still wanted to stay and watch a movie with her. i said sure, but I had to run home first. Literally, within 5 minutes of her telling me, i was back on the snus. I liked her, and was pleased I made the choice to give up snus for her. But honestly, I like the snus far more.

That's a shame. But hey, you know the snus won't ever let you down! Having read your posts on how snus functions as a sort of medication for you, I imagine it would have been difficult to make that kind of sacrifice for life, unless she was really the one.
