I am only in day 2 of my snussing but I am unable to keep the portion snus where it belongs. I stick it firmly and tightly behind the upper lip near the front, but withing minutes it seems to create mucous or something and slips down and around. To make it worse, when I try to reposition it it causes snus juice, which I spit or swallow. Makes you a bit nauseous. Am I doing something wrong or is the slippage a beginner's problem?

Yeah, you'll settle into a technique with it before long. Just keep at it. The trick is to relax your top lip rather than, what seems instinctive with your first portions, to clench too tightly. Eventually you barely notice that the portion is even in, so the overgripping just goes away naturally. -
haha, i used to have this problem too while playing ice hockey, the portion always fell out onto the ice within 5 minutes :/
