I've generally always used a Prismaster, although I'm currently trying to get used to a 3ml Icetool. I still default to the Prismaster most of the time, but I'm definitely starting to get a better appreciation for what the Icetool is and does. In many ways, the Icetool is to snus what the Zippo is to cigarettes. A Zippo is much pretter, much flashier, and in many ways it is superior to a Bic. But for everyday use, the Bic still works just fine.

I've honestly never been much for handbaking, except for Offroad. I don't think you could get Offroad lös to fall apart if you tried, and if you can I'd like to see the YouTube.

In the end, it's whatever works for you.

I've gone from prismaster to icetool and digging it. I recently did the pinch to the corner or the can method with gen es and was pleasently suprised! Shoved it up there, tucked it with the tounge, and it stayed quite niceley. Much larger flavor hit as well.

Not sure I want to try this with a finer cut like RL or Ettan.

I've been using the General Icetool I got from buysnus from their anniversy swag give away, and I do rather like it. I think I'd never spend $40 on one. Handbaking is easy enough for me.

Edit:For giggles, I decided to see how long it would take me to bake a pris. 49 seconds to make as close to one gram as I could. According to my digital scale it was 1.4g, so I don't feel that bad. But apparently I'm in the minority, since I saw a bunch of people posting how they use less with the Icetool, I use .1g more. That means I get an entire 2.1 more prillas by handbaking.

I used a prismaster for awhile, bought an icetool (it was shiny, looked cool), all i ever do now is just hillbilly it. Thats about 8 months worth of snus just hillbillying it up. Gave away my icetool.

for the last few months i have been swallowing almost every pris (washing it away with what ever beverage i am drinking) when the pris is done.

Icetool is just a waste of money.

Agreed, but only if all you are going to do is hillbilly it. I know a lot of folks find the tool very helpful.

Let me add that, personally, I don't use an icetool, prismaster, nor do I hand bake (though I began with the prismaster and hand baking). Now I just use the ol pinch it from the can and toss it in. No mudslides and much less hassle. I upper lip it about 90% of the time but still hillbilly it about once or twice a day.

That said, I don't recommend the pinch and toss method at first nor do I recommend primarily hilbillying it. My advice is to begin with a prismaster, see if los is your thing, move up to an icetool, if you so desire, all the while perfecting the skill of hand
