    Los in the Freezer

So my only can of los is running low, so I placed an order for more. I got Grov and Ettan los. (I hated the Grov portions, so I'm gonna give the los a fair shot) My question is: do you guys store your los in the freezer? The whole cardboard cans and all. I don't plan on opening both, and want to store the Ettan.

I have, but I make sure to put them in a zip-loc freezer bag with as much of the air pushed out as I can. I also have the baggies in a tubberware container but that may be a little overkill.

The ones I've thawed out were just fine.

I put them in freezer bags, some people vacuum pack them. I've had zero problems storing this way.

I do, because I like the way it helps to pack the pris.

Cool. I keep my unopened in the freezer in a freezer bag. They've just all been portion until now.

How does the Grov los stack up against the portions?

Stronger flavor, IMO. More pronounced, more "robust" is the best word I could come up with.

FWIW, I store everything in the freezer, no zip lock bags, nothing, naked.

I have thawed a can of los out that was a year old, completely fine like new

That's cool then. I just wondered if the cardboard gets freezer damaged in any way. You gotta stock up los as well for the snusapocalypse!

I have never noticed any freezer damage to the few cardboard "tins" I have.

I have compared thawed out snus with fresh snus straight from shipper and have never been able to tell any difference.

Just check my Ettan and my Prima Fint can, both have been in freezer for weeks, and no damage.

I know what a freezer burned steak tastes like.
As cheap as freezer bags are, why take a chance?

Because steak is different. It has not been broken down, so freezing CAN damage it. Snus has already been pulverized, the original plant bindings already broken down, Nothing really to be damaged by freezing.

                              As to why not???

Grinding poverty for a significant portion of my snus use. So freezer bags or food, I chose food.
