Well, Swedish Match seems to have a few items for certain parts of the world. The Tobacco Cuts, South Africa's General menthol, and now long cut. There may be more. I also read they make a nasal snuff called Tucky.

That's sounds like a good idea.

      This fiile is from 2004:
Swedish Match. North Europe Division (SMNE) is responsible within Swedish Match for sales of
pipe tobacco and chewing tobacco in the Czech Republic...

Remember, SM makes redman and other "American dips". I would want to make sure it is made according to Swedish standards. The fact that it has the "General" name is a real good sign that it does.

I would love to see this available to a wider market.

I also would love to see what Joakim and Markus had to say.

Are any of those other products steam cured? I think you are inferring no.

I think if it was made like snus, it would say "Made In Sweden".

Hey that’s a good point. Notice that the label is in English but it’s being sold in the Czech Republic, all the while we who speak English have never seen it.

My fear is that this is Timber Wolf, Redman, or the likes repackaged under a name the Europeans will recognize

                    Two guesses:

It’s not here because SM already has dip and is positioning the General brand in America as snus (i.e. this is dip).

It’s longer in cut to comply with some technical definition of snus and chew dreamed up by the EU

Discreet is not made in Sweden.

I was referring to Swedish Match "made" American dip.

About SM...They can make american dip, coz its just an american style of "chewing tobacco". And snus is swedish style "chewing tobacco" (due the pasterization and steam-curing)
