Wrap rubber bands or something around the handle to keep the end from pushing through. That makes it a bit easier to use.
 Is this why I ended up launching my pris across the room when trying to eject it? Hell, it bounced off my gums and took off, I had to go searching... And I whacked my teeth with the damn plunger ops: oh well.
My first homemade was a big one also, and it was just too much. If you go to a drug store and ask for a 3ml syringe, they should be able to give one the same size as an IceTool.
The Walgreen's pharmacist seemed to only have one size but I will check around. Not complaining since they gave it to me.

You can fit a piece of card around the other end of the plunger so that it would stop the plunger from popping out and thus protect its rubber seal and stop the snus being projectiled across the room.

Actually the best way is buy 2 syringes.
Cut a piece of tubing out of the extra syringe to act as a stop between the plunger and tube on your improvised icetool.

how straightforward once you think about, thanks for that justin
Thanks lxskllr, that's what i was thinking, it'd be close enough.
I am actuallly from England but moved to US 8 years ago, so i am good with the metric system. I did have to re-learn standard measurements when i moved here though.
I'm a nurse so I have a ready access to syringes. I have been using a ghetto icetool since I started snusing about 2 years ago. I usually use a 3ml syringe and set it back to about 1.5ml. I always compress it against my thumb and then put it in my mouth straight from the syringe.
In the second pic, the bit on the right is solid and functions as the plunger. the bit on the left is the tube. I may add a rubber gasket if I find the right size o-ring, but it fits together quite well.
