Ok first of all, I had no idea they even had Euro pennies.
It sounds to me like you are well on your way and that its just going to take a little adjusting to find what is right for you.
Here are my thoughts on some of the things you asked
You could increase the size a bit. But I would not worry about how much snus you are using compared to that in a portion. I’d just base it on feel and performance. Find what works for you and do it.
This could have a lot to do with the brand of snus you are using. General, Prima Fint, and Roda all have finer grinds. As such they are easier to bake but will go to mud much faster in your mouth. Try any of the Phantoms (I love both the Blue and the Brown). Also Knox, Skruff, Gotlands, and Grov are all coarser and thus will keep together better. They also are all pretty strong in flavor and thus may help in that department (Grov being on the milder end of the group flavor wise) My guess is that this is primarily an equipment malfunction that will be reduced if not solved by changing the brand/cut.
Brother if there is a graceful way to do it, I don’t know it. Finger and a swig of water is the best way I know. Now a well formed pris of non mush brand snus you can get out 50% of the time with just water. But for the rest of the time it involves a bit of excavation. That’s why for me there are some settings that I go with just portions.
Some people can. The tighter the pris the better chance you will have of mastering this skill. I for one never could. I did have a girlfriend once who could do amazing, ungodly, things with her tongue but that’s a different story………a really really good story…….. but different.
See the sneese (snus brands) above. But one word of caution. Don’t try to find the Swedish version of dip (either in flavor or texture). There are brands out there that try to market themselves as just that. IMO they all fail and they all taste like butt. In 6 months you will go back to Grizzly and wonder how you ever kept it in. You have been Maxwell house, smoking Swisher Sweets. You now have a cup of Blue Mountain Java and a fine Cuban. It will take you time to develop your pallet. Once you do there is no going back.
You need to check out what RRK is doing over on this thread.

Hope this helps
