Has anyone tried this product for freezing their snus supply?

I saw a coupon in the local paper over the weekend, but I haven't been able to find them in any stores yet. Looks like a great idea, and cheaper than the sealer/bag option.

Vacuum packaging works great. If sealed properly snus will keep virtually forever in the freezer. I've kept snus for over two years and I can tell no difference from the day it was packaged.

I haven't used this particular product, I use a Foodsaver. If you are going to package a lot of snus I would recommend investing in a good vacuum sealer ($75-$100). However, I bet it's not too bad for a low budget option and would like to hear what people think of this product.

For whatever it is worth, I have kept snus for a year and a half just frozen, no baggie at all, and it too was like new.

i keep atleast a roll in the fridge..it gets used up before it has time to degrade

Good to know. I don't know if I'd bother with vacuum sealing unless someone plans to store it for many years or if they have a sealer already.

I bought the bags and the vacuum pump, and to be honest, it works no better than plain old freezer bags.

I can tell it won't take me long to get a collection going. I'm just going to pop what i don't use as much in a baggie and stick it in the freezer.

Not sure if I want to spend close to $100 for a Foodsaver-style sealer. I don't think I keep enough snus in the freezer to warrant that kind of investment.

I might give it a try if I can ever find it on the shelf somewhere, but if it doesn't work any better than freezer bags (which I use) I'll just stick with what I've got.

I think it's safe to just take sagedil's word for it, that snus does fine in the freezer with no bags at all.

I just freeze my supply also, and I've never had a problem at all with flavor or consistency.
