Hey Deeanne, I smoked for years then went to the e-cig. Worked good, but chain vaped trying to find comfort level. Did that for a couple months and figured I'd try the camel snus I'd seen at gas stations. Kinda liked it and would use that throughout the day with a e-cig "kicker" every couple hours. After a couple weeks of that, my thunder frosted order came - first "real" snus I ever tried, and WOW. Immediately lost all interest in the e-cig, cigarettes, and mini portion anything. Have since worked in Claq, N&J, Onyx and others and am totaly satisfied in the nic. department. Right now I have 4 packs of ciggs, 6 e-ciggs and over 1200mls. of e-liquid collecting dust cause I just don't want 'em anymore. Haven't touched any of them in months. You'll get there!

Hello Xsmoker! My first strong snus is going to be Thunder Frost, and some Oden Classic Kanel Starks...I am "cutting my teeth" on the minis right now, but will move up soon. Vaping is going to be my "Goliath" in this battle. It helped me get off of cigs, now I will use snus and snuff to get off of e-cigs too. My only concern is the possibility of not being able to get my snus and snuff if the PACT act passes. I have tried the Camel Snus, and they made me sick, I don't want to have to go there again, and I don't think I have any snuff locally, except maybe W.E. Garrett...not even sure about that.

I live in a backwater town in rural Tennessee...big country for Grizzly and Kodiak chew, but not much else. With PACT, I will be forced to go back to cigarettes...because I don't know if I will have enough time to stock up on ANYTHING...whether it be vaping supplies, snus, or snuff. And no way to get it locally, unless I vape 0-nic liquid...and then, I don't have the money to stockpile 50 or more atties for that!

See deeanne59????? What I said would happen with you.

BTW, don't stress the PACT act. One way or another, I will get my snus. Worst case, I run you supplies every 6 months bootlegger style

Not kidding btw. I ride a bike, put 250 -400 miles on her ever Saturday from Spring thru fall, love to ride. You just aren't that far from me. Already made this promise for someone else. I love to ride, won't let someone go without snus if I can help it.

For me, the nice thing about strong snus is it KILLS my urges for anything else. They take a little getting used to, but pretty soon they take the place of everything else. As far as pact goes, if there's anything good to say about it, it will force the snus makers to sell locally. The bad part is it won't be cheap and the selection won't be near as good as we're used to. All we can do is stock up best we can and hope for the best. If you need to stock up on e-liquid, check out lightinthebox.com, key word e-liquid. WAY CHEAP. 30 mls. for less than 5 bucks. But give the snus a chance, it will probably take over!

That is what I am hoping for Xsmoker. I like vaping, but it is only a doppleganger of smoking. My mind is at ease because it knows that I didn't quit the "act" of smoking, so no protest. But my BODY is protesting loudly, because it knows the difference in nicotine level. The only way to get away from smoking right now is to get away from vaping.

Right now, I am the laughing stock at work...because I am "unladylike" using snus, and they laughed at my vaping, and thought I should go back to smoking. I don't care what they think, I am going to do this...and be the better for it.

You were right Sage, I guess Thunder Frost is the answer. I am making my HUGH grocery list for snus and snuff. I also think I am gonna try some Stonewalls...just for variety. No one ever posted an answer about making my own portions using los...bad idea? Too much work?

This would be the thread to look at, and ask questions in. I don't have any experience with that.

Some people have done it. But I just never understood why. I mean, I have like 100 choices of portions to use, there really is no los I *must* have. And given the money I am already saving by using snus (about 70% less then I spent on cigarettes, just don't feel the need to try and save any more money.

And portions are made differently from los for a reason, so just not as good I imagine as a store bought portion

EDIT, and I have always liked the stonewalls the few times I have had it, almost candy like in it's sweetness. I just prefer snus for all day use

OH, OK. I thought I might be able to do this in case the los had a flavor that I would like to try, that didn't come in a portion....and I can't bring myself yet to the idea of baking and using pris right now.

It was just a thought.

Hey deeanne, check out stonewalls for sure. I love 'em. No one will ever know you're using them and they taste pretty good. I use java flavor with coffee every morning and night. Problem is I have to use two at a time to get enough nic. (4mg each). But if you're gonna get 'em, get "em quick. I've got a feeling they're gonna be the first on the "Tobacco Candy" list to get banned. I hope I'm wrong. Also, don't take any shit from coworkers, if they wanna die from lung cancer, let 'em, but we have better options.

Oh, I won't. Just might get a little curious and see what Skruf Stark tastes like, or something else...and not have to worry about "mud mouth".
Also might be able to control portion size a little more.

You realize there is a Skruff Stark portion???

But controlling portion size is a good reason to do this, at least a reason I understand

Nope, sorry, haven't researched enough yet on what is in portions and what isn't...yet. Going to be starting that now...just threw out a name as a hypothetical example. Glad you got me on it sage...will do better next time.
