Snus drying out

I've noticed that the first can of my order tastes awesome. but when i use a can that i've previously frozen, it tastes dried out like it doesn't have much flavor. I use those vacuum freezer bags. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do i keep the snus fresh tasting?

They say freezing is the trick. I know from experience that keeping cans in the regular fridge after opening them is a guarantee of dried, tasteless snus. :cry:

I just found another topic about this subject. i should really read everything before posting new topics ops: I'm going to try squirting the can with a spray bottle. Maybe that'll help.

I found that lightly moistening the dying snus helped a little but the taste is gone.

Though I've been snusing for nearly a year, I've never frozen a single can, not even as an experiment. I just don't like frozen food, no matter what others think, so I assume, that I wouldn't like snus, that has been frozen.

Besides of that, I'll surely try to freeze snus sooner or later, but I still don't know when.

So yes, I've used many cans, that were past the expiration date and never been frozen (which is no problem at all IMHO) and they never were dried out.

So I guess, freezing the snus is only preferable, if there's no chance to consume the snus sometime before or around the expiration date. Otherwise, the fridge may be the best choice.

Many others always freeze their snus immediately without any problems, so it might also depend on the single freezer.
