    Tongue Roll...and another question(lösers)

am i the only one that rolls the pris on my tongue to get it moist before i put it in my upper lip? i find that puttin a thin coat of saliva on it keeps it from falling apart.

also...does anybody here ever add a dash of salt to their snus? ive thought about it but knda iffy as i dont want to add to much and ruin a good can.

      Never done that.

I think snus is salty enough, I'm good with the balance already, I wouldn't try this.

I don't do the tounge roll, though I have tried it and had to wash out my mouth.

As for salt, I don't find the need to add more but, I know a little about salting things, and if you were to do it maybe a nice sea salt that would compliment the snus and help add to the flavor as opposed to regular kosher salt (never table salt) would get you where you want. If you like a smoky flavor, there are smoked sea salts available also.

Remember, large crystal salt will take a bit of time to properly dissolve into the snus and you may want to first dissolve the salt in water using only a few drops of the solution at a time. If you do not want to increase the moisture, your best bet is to grind the crystals fine and mix once when adding to the snus and then again after it sits for a short preiod of time to not get any salty spots. Then again, the salt may take out a bit of the moisture so you may ruin a can just figuring this out.

The standard amount of salt to add to an item is one teaspoon per pound of product, but you are talking about a product with salt already in it so you may have to change that ratio and, when you scale it to 45 grams of los, there is little room for error.

You can always add more salt but you can't take it back out.

tex sprinkle a bit of baking soda in it. Mix it in good. maybe add a few drops of water.

It gives a nice rounded saltiness and increases nicotine release bud.
