I miss the "burn" feeling, I usually stick with upper left, and the inside of my gums feel almost like sand paper, Thunder has toughened them up a bit. Wrinkled gums is just from the salt, actual PAIN I'd go see a dentist and stop snusing in that area.

I'm a new snuser, I've been snusing for about a month and I had a similar issue at first with my gums feeling raw and burning. I was using General Mint and WG. After trying General OP, I discovered that most of the burning was due to the mint, though I've come to feel the mint as soothing rather than irritating on the gums. If I've snused a lot all day, a mint portion actually calms the irritation.
I saw a post somewhere earlier today where a new user tried two portions and ended up spitting out blood. I think this is possibly due to overly sensitive gums that need to be flossed more. Actually if you're having gum pain, more brushing and flossing should help diminish that significantly. After using snus for about a week, my gums got use to the portions. My gums only occasionally get irritated now and I will just switch to the other side until the new side fills raw and then I switch back, but the irritation I feel, now that I'm use to it, is very minor.
