    lower lippers?

Used dip for months on end, used snus for months on end. I've done alot of thinking about it, and I don't think it's just my american sensibilities- I prefer to lower lip.

Everyones mouth/tastes are different I'm sure, But for me, occasionally I would upper-deck just because my lower lip was inflamed. Just about every time, It would slide when I talked, sting, completely fall apart, or get noticed.

Not only can I use my center lower lip when using minis or a small pinch, but there is a huge space(almost down to my chin) just left or right of center bottom. This is a great area- even a large pinch/portion can fit there without touching the gumline, absorption is quick, and I can taste the wonderful tobacco bouquet there quite easily.

Anyone else here confirmed lower-lip snusers?

I tried it, but it was just a mess for me. The loose snus really just broke all apart in my mouth.

Now I do dip and chew, lower lip. I also tried dip in the upper lip, and that seemed to work OK, but I really didn't care for it.

      Sure, and why not?

I like cope, but it rips my stuff up bad, so I just lower lip some snus when the notion strikes. Portions are better for me lower, because most los is a chore to look after in the lower, and it doesn't last very long.

Upperdecking takes some time to get used to, but it is a nice way to enjoy a long and even delivery or flavor and nicotine. I like both methods quite a bit for what its worth, but whatever works for you works for you. The cans don't come with instructions, last I checked.

If you prefer lower-lipping, definitely continue to do so, but if you've given up on upper-lipping after only a few attempts i'd try it again. It took me about 3-4 cans of loose before my lip finally got used to it, and now that the pocket has developed it's as if there's nothing there (in a good way). The amount of saliva produced by the top lip is much less than that of the bottom, and should allow you to keep a pris in for a while longer if that'd interest you. Do whatever floats your boat, but know that even if it's uncomfortable at first things will change and lips will stretch over use.

I am a stickler for tradition, so I lower deck dip and upper deck snus.

Loose snus does not work as well in the lower deck. Also you absorb way more nicotine in the upper deck.

          Loose snus + lowerdeck=mudslide

As the nicotine delivery system is way better with snus you dont need anywhere near as bigger pinches as you do with dip so upper decking does not give you the lip bulge that dip gives you anyway.

Lower decking makes you salivate too much for snus in my experience and 1000's of other snuser experience. Get loose snus too wet then you get a mudslide.

Ive talked to people who take big hillbilly pinches downstairs and have no problems. My experience has been that it works OK with coarse grind snuses but terrible with things like Ettan and Röda Läcket. But truthfully I don't feel that snus should be in the lower lip anyway. I like dip as well so when I have a need for a big pinch in the lower lip, I just go for some Cope

I have never been able to lower-lip any kind of loose, even the coarse grinds. I don't really feel a need to, though.

The only thing I lower-lip is the Offroad Longcut......and even then I sometimes find it hard to keep it in place for lengthy periods of time.

I lower lip snus all the time (I never bake it when its going lower lip-- just pinch and toss).

I find the nic to hit quicker this way (due to the loser pack and more saliva)
I also find the flavor to be enhanced (for the very same reasons above). Thus when ever I try a new los it always goes in the lower lip first.

The only thing I have noticed is that you do lose more with each spit than you do with dip. Thus snus does not last as long in the lower lip as dip will (but the difference- though noticeable- is not that drastic).

I'd guess that 1/5 of all my snussing is lower deck.

I like putting Snus in my lower lip sometimes. Generally, I start out by popping a portion in my upper lip, then after about 30mins-1 hour (depending on the brand), I'll move the portion to my lower lip in order to get any of the last flavor out. I don't use Los, so I can't really comment on that.

The only downside with putting Snus in your lower lip is that it juices much more. This is a bit of a downside because on stronger brands I find it can burn quite a lot when you swallow. I also find you get the nicotine much quicker and it gives you a bit more of a rush.

I started doing this finally when in the shower on occasion. It's pretty exciting.

I just tried some Gullivare in the lower lip. I don't know. I'll report back later. I only dip on the lower side, my gums arn't the best right up front, always was like that. But the snus grind is usually so fine, it muds up right away.

OK, this was a big fail. It was mud, and maybe I swallowed some, as now I feel a bit ill in the stomach. If I lower lip anything, it has to be loose leaf chew or long cut dip.
