    Ghetto Tool Poll

From what I have been reading, Ghetto Tools seem to be very popular in Sweden. All I've ever used is a Ghetto Tool... maybe I'm just to cheap to buy an Icetool

Anyhow... what do you think about Ghetto tools?

Poll not found. Ghetto tools are ok, but the IceTool is just nicer. Here's my order of preference, assuming I HAVE to use a tool for sanitary reasons, or something like that...

    IceTool
    Modified syringe
    Prismaster

Ok so I finally successfully put a pris of Roda Lackett in using a cutoff 3ml syringe. Had much trouble before this but now it seems fine--good even. Probably was trying to put too much in before but a mere 1ml of Roda, firmly packed, is sitting just fine. So esplain to me why an IceTool is way better for approximately 130 times more dough. I know I know seriously cool turned metal things are my cup of tea as much as any mecho-head but really forty bucks as opposed to 30 cents?

I have a cut off syringe at the moment, but my icetool should on my doorstep tomorrow.

icetool...stronger, easier to clean, will never wear out (except for maybe the $.30 washer), will last many lifetimes, looks classy

syringe.....disposable, cheaper, not durable, looks ghetto

Well for sure I now know what size IceTool to spring for if I ever have the spare scratch---3 ml. I presume the 3ml IceTool is quite close in size to a 3ml syringe. Anyway the 3 ml syringe makes a perfect size for my particular lip architecture. My third pris today was a 1.5 ml and I got a fair buzz from the Roda.

^ Yeah, I would say you should use loose for a bit with the syringe, try handbaking and pinching out, and if you really like loose, and you also really like using a tool, then consider dropping the coin on an ice tool.

And if you need anymore syringes, tell the lady at the drugstore you need it to shoot grease into your bike crank. I did that, and she wouldn't let me leave until she had given me almost every size of oral syringe available. If you tell them it is for oral tobacco, they are likely to call the cops. Or ask you to pay for it.

If you do enough ordering from The Northerner, you can get an IceTool with your bonus points. Not a bad alternative to shelling out $40.

Pretty much all of these. An IceTool isn't necessary, really no tool is necessary, it's just nice. It's like comparing a dollar store kitchen knife with a Henkel. They both work fine, but the Henkel feels nicer in hand, and just makes the whole experience more pleasurable due to the quality of the tool.

Oh my yes I loves them pricey tools--Snap On, Bridgeport, Stihl, etc. etc. etc. Get what you pay for if you got it to pay.

"Ghetto tools" a.k.a modified syringes arent actually popular in Sweden but in Finland ( where the whole syringe stuff originated from ).
I got couple snus cannons if I happen to forget where Ive put my icetool.

A well made macgyver snus cannon works as good as icetool.

It arrived and I love it! I will be keeping my syringe with my camping/backpacking gear so I can go out and not have to worry about losing my icetool on some trail somewhere. I may make a second one to keep in my car since I forget things... when I smoked I always kept a spare lighter and/or matches in the car, so the same idea will apply for snus, just different tools.

This is probably the only way i'll get an icetool. I started los without any tool, took me around 3 to 4 days to get ok at baking. Made a ghetto tool out of a 5ml syringe, used that for a while. Then I got a prismaster with my los sampler back in January from Getsnus and it works fine for me.

I just don't have the $ to drop that kinda cash on something like that. If i did then yeah i would probably have one by now.

Ghetto or hand baking all the way. I have to make another ghetto tool because it's not as smooth on the edge as I'd like. I'm sure the Icetool is more comfortable but for that split second? it's not worth it to me.
